Instrumentation

Our research as well as all the services we offer can be performed with the available instrumentation not only in our group but also in the Scientific Instrumentation centre of the University of Jaén

MOLECULAR SPECTROSCOPY

Fluorescence Spectrometer: Two Varian Cary Eclipse. These spectrometers are used as detectors in luminescence-based flow-through optosensors (using FIA or multiconmutation)

Chemiluminescence Detector: The Detector (Hamamatsu H8240-101) consists of a photomultiplier 28 mm inner diameter (wavelength range 185-900 nm). A commercial flow cell Hellma 138-QS is used. This detection scheme is coupled to a SIA manifold from Global FIA.
