How to get to Úbeda
The nearest international airport is the Federico Garcia Lorca of Granada--Jaen, 140 km from Ubeda. Other airports are in Malaga (230 km) and Madrid (320 km). There are also international flights with final destination Seville and Almería, but flights are less frequent.
In most cases, Madrid-Barajas international airport is by far the easiest and most convenient choice.
From Madrid
By train
The name of the local train station is Linares-Baeza. Most trains leave from the local network station "Estacion de Cercanias" at Chamartin, but someone could leave from the local network station "Estacion de Cercanias" at Atocha (see train times, www.renfe.es).
- How to get to Chamartin:
- From the Airport Metro Station, take Line 8 (direction Nuevos Ministerios) to the station Nuevos Ministerios. Then take Line 10 (direction Fuencarral) to Chamartin station.
- How to get to Atocha:
- From the airport Metro Station, take Line 8 (direction Nuevos Ministerios) to the station Nuevos Ministerios. Take the circular Line 6 to the station Pacifico, and then take Line 1 (direction Plaza Castilla) to the station Atocha-Renfe.
