Scientific and social program

Tentative program. Updated: February 26th, 2012


The scientific program of the conference will commence on Monday morning (July 16th) at approximately 9.00 a.m. . We recommend you to arrive in Úbeda a day before, on Sunday.

Our intention is that participants do not need the registration desk. In this way, if you pay accommodation and local expenses (before July 5th) and conference fees (before June 30th), you will receive by email a voucher for your hotel, where you can go directly and where you will find in your room the abstracts book, the program, detailed information, invoices, material, etc.

If on the contrary you do not pay in advance, you will have to go to the registration desk in Hotel María de Molina.

A detailed program will be posted on this web page no later than July 10th.

  • Plenary lectures start approx. 9.30 a.m., contributed talks start at 12.00 a.m.
  • Visit to workshops craftsmen at 10.30 a.m. (only for accompanying people).
  • Lunch in Restaurant "El Marqués" at 3.00 p.m.
  • Gala dinner at 8.30 p.m.
July 18th -
  • Plenary lectures start approx. 10.00 a.m, contributed talks start at 11.30 a.m.
  • Cooking class at 10.30 a.m. (only for accompanying people)
  • Lunch in Restaurant "El Marqués" at 2.30 p.m.
  • Departing by bus to Baeza at 5.30 p.m. Visit to Baeza.
  • Departing by bus to Cazorla at 7.30 p.m. Visit to Cazorla.
  • Dinner in Cazorla.
