I started my studies in Chemistry in the University of Jaén in 1999 and I joined this Department in 2002 thanks to a Grant from the Spanish Government. I obtained my PhD in 2008, being the thesis entitled: Flow-through sensors with luminescence detection in solid phase: Implementation of new strategies. I am still working in the development of new automatic optosensors and also performing research in atomic and molecular mass spectrometry techniques
