Scientific and social program

Tentative program. Updated: December 23rd, 2009


The scientific program of the conference will commence on Monday morning (Jul 5) at approximately 9am. We recommend that you arrive in Úbeda a day before, on Sunday. The registration desk will be open during the hours 10 am-11 pm on Sunday in Restaurant "El Marqués" and on Monday from 8:30 am-2:00 pm in Hospital de Santiago. A detailed program will be posted on this webpage no later than June 20.

Jul 5 -
  • Registration desk will be open since 8:30 am till 2 pm in Hospital de Santiago.
  • Opening Ceremony at 9.00 in Hospital de Santiago.
  • First conference session starts at approx. 10 a.m.
  • Lunch in Restaurant "El Marques" at 3.00 p.m.
  • Pair work time in Restaurant "El Marques" from 4.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
  • Departing by bus to Canena at 7.00 p.m.
  • Visit to Canena Castle, Olive oil tasting , Flamenco show and welcome cocktail.
Jul 6 -
  • Plenary lectures start approx. 9.00, contributed talks start at 11.30.
  • Visit to workshops craftsmen at 10.30 am (only for accompanying people).
  • Lunch in Restaurant "El Marques" at 2.30 p.m.
  • Pair work time in Restaurant "El Marques" from 4.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
  • Departing by bus to Jaen at 6.00 p.m. Visit to Jaen.
  • Dinner in Parador de Jaen

  • Plenary lectures start approx. 9.00, contributed talks start at 11.30.
  • Lunch in Restaurant "El Marques" at 3.00 p.m.
  • Pair work time in Restaurant "El Marques" from 4.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
  • Departing by bus to Baeza at 7.00 p.m.Visit to Baeza.
  • Cocktail-dinner in Palacio de Jabalquinto
Jul 8 -

  • Shuttle service to Linares-Baeza train station and Ubeda bus station. Lunch at 2.00 p.m. in Parador de Ubeda
