The University of Jaén is currently part of the Global University Network for Innovation (GUNi) and an individual full member of the European University Association (EUA). Besides, the UJA is a member of the so-called FOOD FOR LIFE-SPAIN platform:

Additionally, the UJA is part of the the so-called S3 Partnership on Sustainable Buildings, which aims to create an alliance between European regions to boost new markets and take advantage of regional opportunities for specialisation.

Besides, the UJA at present actively works Towards a Raw Materials Strategy for the European Ceramic Industry (EIP on Raw Materials) and it has also participated in activities organized by the Agricultural European Innovation Partnership (EIP-AGRI).

Finally, the University of Jaén is part of AgrotechDIH (Andalucía Agrotech Digital Innovation Hub) and I4-GREEN (Interregional investment for the sustainable supply of raw materials in the EU Green Energy Transition).
