The “Analysis of Basins and Environmental Geology” research group carries out its activity in the field of stratigraphy.
The results of its research are widely applicable in fields as important as groundwater, energy resources, oil, gas, coal or industrial minerals.

- Jurassic and Cretaceous periods of the Prebaetic and Subbaetic Systems
- Facies analysis, reconstruction of sedimentary environments and evolution in space and time
