The “Gender, Dependency and Social Exclusion (GEDEX)” Research Group comprises a multidisciplinary team of people who work to strengthen Accessibility and Design for all persons, Social Inclusion, Equality and improvements in quality of life and sustainable development in Society. Research into the personal autonomy of dependent persons, gender equality and education, entrepreneurship and empowerment policies for women and socially excluded persons, the ageing of society, Engineering and Technology for inclusive and sustainable environments are some of their research proposals.
