The website for the pan-European initiative EURAXESS – Researchers in Motion provides contact details for the network of partners covering the following regions/countries: ASEAN, Australia and New Zealand, Latin America and the Caribbean, China, India, Japan, Korea and North America. For example, EURAXESS India connects researchers in India with Europe.

Since 2011, EURAXESS Worldwide has served as a contact point for free information and training on research funding, research careers and partnership opportunities. The ASEAN community comprises more than 18,000 scientists, researchers, research managers and business representatives with an interest in scientific collaboration between Europe and South-East Asia.

UJA also supports the Science for Refugees initiative launched by the European Commission to help refugee researchers from anywhere in the world who are looking for work to improve their circumstances and leverage their experience and potential in European research settings. As the EC website explains, Science4Refugees allows refugees with a research background and official refugee status to apply for vacancies at eligible universities and research centres, including internships, part-time positions and full-time positions. Participation in the Science4Refugees initiative does not automatically entail fulfilment of host country requirements or authorisation to work in the EU.
