The University of Jaén (UJA) launched an internal communication tool at the beggining of 2009, with which to make known to all members of the University Community the academic and institutional activities of the UJA.

The so called tool is a display system known as Dynamic Communication System (SICODI-UJA).

It is more than a virtual billboard tool, as it allows the publication of any type of audiovisual content on high dimension tv displays, installed all over the buildings of the campuses in Jaén and Linares.

The system works with a new content manager(software SCALA), that allows a better and more efficient administration of this tool and its maximum use.

This communication system will be managed by the Vice-Rector for Communication and Institutional Projection along with the Information and General Affairs Service, acting in a coordinated way for the correct functioning of the platform.

The system issues information that is sent by the University Community to the Information and General Affairs Service, via e-mail sicodi [arroba] ujaen [punto] es .

In total, there are 29 television screens distributed in the following buildings.
