Blended Intensive Program on RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECTS MANAGEMENT

  • Descripción: 3 ECTS

The course aims to train students in renewable energy project management using methodologies such as ISO 21500, PMBook (PMI), and PM2, the latter being recommended by the European Union for such projects. It focuses on developing practical skills to plan, monitor, and control projects, covering key aspects such as scope, time, cost, risk management, supplier management, communication, and closure.

The course incorporates practical case studies, visits to real facilities, and the use of digital tools (Excel and MS Project) to teach fundamental concepts of planning and control. Additionally, it examines the impact of renewable energies on the energy system, the regulatory framework, and EU energy policies, raising awareness of the future of energy and renewable energy promotion plans in the region. Project-Based Learning (PBL) is a central methodology to ensure students apply concepts in real-world contexts.

Blended Intensive Program on Building bridges: local practitioners meet international students

  • Descripción: 3 ECTS

The International Business Carousel; Building Bridges is a novel concept of teaching practice through which the student acquires the role of consultant with actual entrepreneurs facing a specific management problem. Useful for students of Business Administration and its various variants, the learning objectives are achieved through interaction with entrepreneurs in a real environment. Students have the opportunity to interview in depth entrepreneurs and managers of companies in various sectors with the intention of approaching a specific management problem, be it strategic analysis, marketing, production, financial or introducing them to international business and sectors. The learning environment is also enriched through the participation of students in collaborative learning activities with students from other countries. In this case, the training activity takes place in collaboration with the NEOLAiA Alliance and in cooperation with EDE Christian University of Applied Sciences in The Netherlands. The main outcome of the training activity will be the presentation of a consultancy report by the groups of students who have participated in the Business Carousel. This report will be useful to the manager to make decisions in specific business areas.
