OBJECTIVE
The grants for the implementation of virtual collaborative learning initiatives with foreign universities aim to promote internationalization at home through the development of pilot proposals for virtual learning activities for UJA students and international students that do not require physical mobility for any party. These activities must be framed within a course of a UJA degree program and will require academic collaboration between UJA faculty and faculty from one or more foreign universities, as well as cooperative work among the involved students. In particular, the aim is to encourage the joint design, by the participating faculty, of a teaching proposal that will be developed within the selected course taught at UJA, and another course taught at the partner institution(s) in which the faculty participate.
This grant pursues the following objectives:
- Promote academic collaboration between UJA faculty and faculty from one or more foreign universities.
- Foster the exchange of teaching practices in international contexts.
- Strengthen or create cooperative relationships between the universities.
- Promote virtual interaction between UJA students and students from the foreign university or universities participating in the activities.
- Offer students an international learning experience without physical mobility.
- Encourage collaborative work among participating students.
- Train students in global and intercultural competencies.
- Encourage the use of new technologies in the teaching-learning process.
- Encourage teaching in a foreign language in UJA's degree programs.
