TIC-207 Intelligent Systems and Data Mining (SIMIDAT)

The “Intelligent Systems and Data Mining (SIMIDAT)” research group is comprised of professors from the IT Department, who conduct research in predictive data mining (classification, modeling, and time series), descriptive data mining (association rules, description of subgroups, clustering), web mining and preprocessing, applying evolutive, fuzzy and neural systems. It develops applications for medicine, economy, marketing, banking and the web, among other areas.
