Two panels on Thomas More

All the papers accepted for the International Seminar "Thomas More and the Spanish Empire" were distributed into two panels at the II International Conference From Manuscript to Digital: 'World Wide English Literature and World Wide Literatures in English' on the 2nd of December. These were titled Anne of the Thousand Days, 1969 (Thomas More and the Spanish Empire), chaired by Dr. Eugenio Olivares Merino, and A Man for all Seasons, 1966 (Reading Thomas More in the 21st century), chaired by Dr. Eroulla Demetriou. These were two fruitful sessions, full of discussion, in which many Amici brought up their views on the different topics dealt. Take a look at the section "Research Activity" to see the title and participations of our members of the project.

International Seminar

Due to the current sanitary situation, we have decided that our International Seminar ‘Thomas More and the Spanish Empire’ will not take place in Baeza in October as we had initially planned. We have planned to integrate the Conference in a special session devoted to Thomas More within the II International Conference From Manuscript to Digital: 'World Wide English Literature and World Wide Literatures in English’, jointly organised by the University of Lincoln, Universidade de Lisboa and Universidad de Jaén. This will be held in online format (December 1-3 2020). You can visit the webpage of the Conference for further details. We are also available for any doubts you might have at thome_20@ujaen.es. Thank you very much for your patience and understanding.
