Laura Blázquez Cruz has a degree in English Philology with postgraduate studies in cultural aspects of the English Language. She is a teacher in the Department of English Philology at the University of Jaén and investigates discourse analysis in advertising and musical language.

In addition, she is a teacher at the Center for Advanced Studies in Modern Languages (CEALM) of the UJA and is in charge of teaching from levels A1 to C2 of general English, in addition to preparing ACLES, Cambridge and APTIS accreditation exams. It is part of the evaluation court of ACLES.

Together with Julio Ángel Olivares Merino, she co-directed the “Levelling” program broadcast at UniRadio Jaén, a radio space on teaching general English and for specific purposes through textbooks.
