About: Dr. Eroulla Demetriou specialises in Renaissance literature, especially propagandistic literature of the early 17th century on the topic of the Black Legend of Spain and the Spanish Match. She has also carried out research on the Other in Renaissance literature, travel literature through Cyprus in the 19th and 20th centuries, and the teaching of English through literature. Dr. Demetriou is currently in the I+D+D group led by Dr. Eugenio Olivares Merino, working on Thomas More in literature and is concentrating on More and Jesuit plays and here, as you will see, More in History books for students in the 19th century.
