About: Nadia López-Peláez Akalay --BA (University of Granada and Trinity College Dublin, 2017-2021) and MA (University of Jaén, 2021-2022) in English Literature-- is currrently working as an Assistant Professor at the University of Jaén. She has attended and participated in national and international conferences on English Literature and Literary Translation, as well as published articles and book chapters on those topics. Both her BA and MA theses were multimodal and intertextual studies of popular and canonical literary discourses. On a more creative note, she was awardedthe Faculty of Philosophy and Letters literary prize (in English, 2017) and has been published in Dublin’s well-known literary journal Icarus (2020). Her first poetry book, the woman revisited (2021) is available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Dymocks Books (amongst other sites).


PhD Candidate at UJA (in English Literature) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Beatriz Valverde Jiménez (University of Jaén) and Prof. Dr. Antonio Ballesteros González (UNED).
