About: Professor Jesús López-Peláez Casellas currently teaches English language drama, at Bachelor and Master’s level, at the Universidad de Jaén. He has conducted research as a Fellow Resident at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington DC (2010 and 2016), and as a visiting scholar at Arizona State, Michigan State and Penn State Universities (1993, 1997, 2005).

Prof López-Peláez has been Research Project Manager of various international projects, he is the current Chair of the English Department at the Universidad de Jaén as well as the HUM 271 Research Group director. He is also the general Editor of the Universidad de Jaén Press Literary Studies series, and is a Corresponding Member of the North American Academy of the Spanish Language in New York.

His articles have appeared in several of the leading journals in the field, and his latest book-length publication is the co-edition and translation of the Elizabethan play Lust’s Dominion (Frankfurt: Peter Lang, 2019).
