About: Mª Inmaculada Ureña-Asensio is an interim lecturer in English at the University of Jaén working on the fields of Thomas More Studies and Digital Humanities. She graduated from the University of Jaén and obtained a MA in English Studies in that same university. She collaborated with the project “Thomas More and Spain (16thand 17th centuries): ideological and textual construction” and she was granted by the Spanish Ministry of Universities a FPU fellowship to pursue her doctoral studies. For her thesis dissertation, she encoded with TEI the Spanish translation of Thomas More’s Utopia rendered by Gerónimo de Medinilla in 1637.
