About: Mª Inmaculada Ureña-Asensio is a PhD candidate at the University of Jaén working on the fields of Thomas More Studies and Digital Humanities. She graduated from the University of Jaén and obtained a MA in English Studies in that same university. She collaborates with the project “Thomas More and Spain (16thand 17th centuries): ideological and textual construction” and she has been recently granted by the Spanish Ministry of Universities a FPU fellowship to pursue her doctoral studies. For her thesis dissertation, she is encoding with TEI the Spanish translation of Thomas More’s Utopia rendered by Gerónimo de Medinilla in 1637.
