Information

The aim of the Programme is to provide international students with personalised aid to facilitate their access to and stay at the University of Jaén.

95 grants are available, with the following distribution:

• 80 for students enrolled at the Jaén Campus.
• 15 for students enrolled at the Scientific and Technological Campus of Linares.

Application requirements

UJA Tutor

• To be enrolled at the University of Jaén, during the academic year 2020/2021, in Bachelor's or Master's Degree studies. The granting of the aid will be conditional on the student being enrolled in the academic year 2021/2022 at the UJA in official Bachelor's or Master's degree studies, which will be verified at the end of the enrolment period for the Bachelor's/Master's degree of the aforementioned academic year.

• To have an officially accredited English language level of B-1 or equivalent at the deadline for applications.

Foreign student

• Submit an application for participation (attaching a copy of the UJA admission letter) at least 7 working days before the date of arrival in Jaén/Linares (Modality 1). In case the student submits the application less than 7 working days before the date of arrival in Jaén/Linares, he/she will be assigned a tutor in the framework of Modality 2 (Accommodation search).

Application deadline

Until 14:00h on 22 June 2021

Students participating in the Buddy programme can obtain up to 1.5 optional credits for credit recognition each academic year according to the University of Jaén's Credit Recognition Regulations.
