Target group:

Students of the University of Jaén enrolled in PhD studies. The period of stay must take place, at the latest, until July 31, 2027.

Requirements:

• To be enrolled at the University of Jaén in Doctorate studies in order to be able to apply for and obtain a place and financial aid
  apply for and obtain the place and the financial aid provided, and not to cancel their enrolment.

• Be nationals of a Member State of the European Community or of any other State participating in the Actions corresponding to the Erasmus+ Programme, or third-country nationals (not participating in the Programme) and be in possession of a valid residence permit to reside in Spain for the duration of the mobility. In this case, the applicant is responsible for managing the visas or permits corresponding to his/her travel to the host institution; it is advisable to start this process at least 3 months before the planned departure date.

• Letter of admission issued by the host institution. The letter must clearly state the name and surname of the student.

• Proof of knowledge of the language(s) used in teaching/assessment at the host institution.

• To carry out a minimum stay of 60 days.

• Not to have exceeded the maximum duration of the ERASMUS programme: the maximum duration of the Erasmus + programme per study cycle is 12 months, including practical training. It is the responsibility of the student interested in applying for a mobility placement under this call not to exceed the maximum duration period.

• Not to be the beneficiary of an international mobility placement for study purposes offered by the Vice-Rectorate for Internationalisation for the same period of time.

Selection criteria:

Average mark of the academic transcript of studies that give access to the doctorate and accredited language proficiency, if applicable.

Place and deadline for application:

Apply (Initial deadline) Until December 9 th 2025.

Once the final list is published, if funding remains available, applications must be submitted through the General Registry of the University of Jaén.

The following evaluation periods will be in effect until all available places are filled, with applications received up to and including each of the dates indicated below:

- February 28, 2026, inclusive.

- April 30, 2026, inclusive.

- June 30, 2026, inclusive.

- September 30, 2026, inclusive.

- November 30, 2026, inclusive.

- January 31, 2027, inclusive.

- April 30, 2027, inclusive.

In any case, mobility will be subject to the existence or formalization of an Erasmus+ agreement, which will be strategically analyzed by the Evaluation Committee.

Students interested in applying for a mobility placement under this call must first contact the Academic Coordinator of the corresponding destination and degree program to receive advice on the feasibility of their study stay project at the destination IES.

Acceptance of the place allocated:

Candidates who are allocated a place will have 5 working days to accept, wait for improvement or resign. If no action is taken, the applicant will be considered to have withdrawn from the call for applications.
