Target group:

Students from the University of Jaén enrolled in doctoral studies. The stay must last, at most, until July 31, 2027.

Requirements:

• Be enrolled in doctoral studies at the University of Jaén to apply for and receive a place and financial aid.
  Application for and receipt of the place and financial aid provided, and not cancel enrollment

• Be a national of a Member State of the European Union or any other State participating in the Actions corresponding to the Erasmus+ Programme, or a national of a third country (not participating in the Programme) and hold a valid residence permit to reside in Spain for the duration of the mobility period. In this case, the applicant is responsible for obtaining the necessary visas or permits for their trip to the host institution; it is recommended to begin this process at least 3 months before the planned departure date.

• Letter of admission issued by the host institution. The letter must clearly state the student's first and last name.

• Proof of proficiency in the language(s) used in teaching/assessment at the host institution.

• For a minimum stay of 60 days.

• Do not exceed the maximum duration of the Erasmus+ program: The maximum duration of the Erasmus+ program per study cycle is 12 months, including traineeships. It is the responsibility of the student applying for a mobility placement under this call for applications to ensure that this maximum duration is not exceeded.

• You will not be eligible for an international mobility placement with study grants offered by the Vice-Rectorate for Internationalization during the same period.

Selection criteria:

Average grade of the academic record of the studies that give access to the doctorate and the accreditation of linguistic competence, if applicable.

Place and deadline for submitting the application:

nitial application deadline: December 9, 2025.

Once the final list is published, if funds are still available, applications must be submitted through the General Registry of the University of Jaén.

The following evaluation periods will be in effect until all available places are filled, and applications will be accepted until each of the dates indicated below, inclusive:

- February 28, 2026, inclusive.

- April 30, 2026, inclusive.

- June 30, 2026, inclusive.

- September 30, 2026, inclusive.

- November 30, 2026, inclusive.

- January 31, 2027, inclusive.

- April 30, 2027, inclusive.

In any case, mobility will be subject to the existence or formalization of an Erasmus+ agreement, which will be strategically analyzed by the Evaluation Committee.

Programming of activities and aid for doctoral schools.

Students interested in applying for a mobility stay under this call should contact the academic coordinator of the destination and the corresponding study program beforehand to receive advice on the feasibility of their study stay project at the destination IES.

Acceptance of the assigned place:

Candidates who are offered a position will have 5 business days to accept it, wait for their situation to improve, or resign. If no action is taken, the applicant will be considered to have withdrawn from the selection process.
