International Staff Week Erasmus+ – April 2026
University of Jaén | 20–24 April 2026
The University of Jaén is pleased to organise the International Staff Week Erasmus+ – April 2026, to be held from 20 to 24 April 2026, within the framework of its internationalisation strategy and its commitment to strengthening interinstitutional cooperation. This initiative is addressed to academic staff and administrative and support staff from international higher education institutions interested in the exchange of experiences, good practices and the development of collaborative networks in the university context.
Throughout the week, participants will take part in a structured programme combining institutional sessions, training activities and collaborative working spaces. These activities are designed to provide insight into the University of Jaén’s university management model, its internationalisation policies and its involvement in European programmes, particularly Erasmus+. The programme will be complemented by cultural activities aimed at introducing participants to the social and cultural heritage of the province of Jaén.
Within the general programme of the Staff Week, the side event “NEOLAiA Focus on Engineering & Education – IFME” will take place in parallel on 21 and 22 April. This activity is conceived as a complementary and thematic event within the week, without an exclusive character, allowing participants to also take part in the full range of activities scheduled during the Staff Week. This side event serves as a dynamic forum dedicated to exchanging good practices and discussing innovative initiatives in the field of Engineering and Education. Our primary objective is to foster deep synergies among international engineering academics, laying the groundwork for sustainable collaboration. By leveraging the momentum of European University Alliances, with the guidance and support of the NEOLAiA Alliance, we aim to drive the transformation and capacity building of teaching and research staff. Participants will engage in discussions designed to share innovation practices and explore new frontiers in engineering programs and education. The meeting can be the basis for further collaboration on joint educational and academic initiatives.
In addition, participants from NEOLAiA alliance institutions or from networks such as IFME, as well as speakers who do not hold an Erasmus+ KA131 mobility nomination, may attach an invitation letter to the registration form, issued by the NEOLAiA Office (for alliance institutions) or by the Vice-Rectorate for Internationalisation (for all other participants)..

Participant nomination and registration will be carried out through the official form “Nominations STAFF WEEK April 2026”. The application deadline is 15 March 2026.
