The French Institute of Oriental Archeology (IFAO) is the only foreign institute in Egypt with a permanent ceramology laboratory since 1984. This center has ceramic samples from many Egyptian sites and from very different periods. The collaboration of the University of Jaén will help to configure the ceramic library, ordering the samples, from a more chronological perspective, or by time; or typological of Egyptian pottery. In addition, we must add the particularities of each region or site.
