Dear international students,
The University of Jaén extends a warm welcome to all new international students participating in mobility programs who have just arrived in Jaén.
In order to simplify the adaptation process and make these initial weeks more straightforward, the Vice-Rectorate for Internationalization has organized a series of welcome sessions with various activities. These are designed to convey basic and useful information, introduce you to your new city, and assist you in adapting during these first weeks.
Below, you will find information about the different planned activities. We are delighted to assist and support you throughout your stay. Welcome!
Welcome Days - February 12-16
Monday 12
9:30-13:00
Welcome ceremony and technical session, mandatory attendance for all international mobility students. In Aula Magna, Campus las Lagunillas, Jaén (you can find the program in "Related Documents," at the bottom of the page).
- Students from Linares will have a bus departing at 8:15 from the Linares Campus (information will be sent by email).
19:30-21:30
International dinner organized by the Erasmus Student Network (ESN). In the dining hall of Building A3, Campus las Lagunillas, Jaén.
Tuesday 13
12:30-13:30
Making new friends! Come and visit the Center for Advanced Studies in Modern Languages and make new local and international friends! They will provide tips for exploring the city, finding the best places to go out, and information to enjoy routes and day trips to amazing cities and villages in the province, as well as national parks.

Movie screening (to be determined) organized by the ESN. In the classroom of Building B4, Campus las Lagunillas, Jaén. (classroom to be determined).

Visit and olive oil tasting at the Ciudad de Jaén olive oil mill
