Objetives
The objective of these grants is to guarantee the operability and correct functioning of the scientific-technical equipment used by our University's research staff through the co-financing of its repair and/or calibration.
Conditions
Grants are intended exclusively to cover expenses associated with the repair and calibration of scientific equipment used in research projects and/or Article 60 contracts, up to a maximum of one year following their completion. The equipment must be operational within University of Jaén facilities. The grant amount will cover a maximum of 50% of the total cost and will not cover expenses associated with equipment upgrades or non-essential updates.
Applicant Requirements
- Be the Principal Investigator of the project or research group under which the equipment to be repaired and/or calibrated was acquired, or a member of said project or research group authorized by the Principal Investigator.
- Meet the requirements set forth in the general regulations.
Submission of Applications
- Application form in accordance with the call for applications, detailing the need for the repair and/or calibration for which funding is requested.
- Budget quote for the repair and/or calibration.
Evaluation Criteria
Approval from the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Knowledge Transfer, in accordance with the conditions established in the call for applications.
Beneficiary Obligations
Those set forth in both the general regulations and the text of the call for applications.
