Action Int.1.b. Incentive for the Improvement of Non-Funded International Projects

Objetives

Support aimed at improving international project proposals coordinated by the UJA that were not funded and obtained an evaluation score of at least 75% of the maximum grade or exceeded the minimum threshold to receive funding (Threshold), with the objective of resubmitting them in the next call or in similar calls. This modality is integrated into the Complementary Actions axis due to its transversal nature, being a common action coherent with the objectives of the strategic lines UJA Research and UJA Transfer. This modality is intrinsically linked to the Strategic Research Support Service (SAI). In this way, the SAI acts as the backbone ensuring that the project readjustment maximizes the chances of success in subsequent calls. (See Action C.1.)

Conditions

  • Those required both in the general rules and in the text of the corresponding call.
  • A maximum limit on the eligible amount is established based on the funding program. See Action C.1.
  • Support proposals for the following project calls are excluded from this action:
    • MSCA-Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA-PF)
    • COST Actions

Applicant Requirements

Be the Principal Investigator of a proposal previously submitted to an international project call that obtained an evaluation score of at least 75% of the maximum grade or exceeded the minimum threshold to receive funding (Threshold) without receiving it, with the objective of resubmitting it in the next call or in similar calls.

Be the Principal Investigator of the proposal and have a permanent affiliation with the UJA or, failing that, have approval from the Vice-Rectorate for Academic and Research Staff and/or the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Knowledge Transfer.

Formalization of Applications

Applications must be submitted through the Electronic Office of the University of Jaén, attaching the documentation required in the call.

Evaluation Criteria

See Action C.1.

Beneficiary Obligations

  • Project submission commitment: Beneficiaries are required to resubmit the project under the conditions defined in the call.
  • If an incentive in the form of a research project is selected (as described in Action C.1), this deadline may be extended by an additional year.
  • The project must be submitted to the same call as the original or, if unavailable, to similar calls.
  • Consequences of non-compliance: Failure to submit the project as established will require full reimbursement of the granted aid.
  • Those required both in the general rules and in the text of the corresponding call.
