Objetives
To provide technical and financial support for the joint submission and/or improvement of research, development, and innovation projects with companies, public administrations, and third sector organizations (hereinafter entities).
The actions to be carried out fall under two modalities:
Modality A (Grant for the submission of R&D&I projects with Companies, Public Administrations, and Third Sector Organizations): Aims to promote active collaboration with external entities to increase joint R&D&I projects and other collaboration opportunities. It includes financial aid for proposal preparation and/or attendance at networking events directly linked to proposal drafting.
Both actions can be combined, provided they do not exceed the funding amount awarded to the applicant.
Conditions
A maximum funding limit for Modality A is established based on the funding program and whether the University of Jaén leads or participates in the proposal:
- International Projects: Up to €5,000
- National Plan Projects (AEI): Up to €3,000
- Regional Projects: Up to €1,500
Once approved by the OTRI (Research Results Transfer Office) director, applications will be evaluated according to the call's guidelines. The final award amount will be determined by the Research Committee after reviewing the remarks and submitted documentation.
- Applications must be submitted at least two months prior to the closing deadline of the target project call.
- Travel expenses for consortium preparation meetings or general-purpose events and workshops are excluded.
- This action is limited to one application per research team per year.
- This action is incompatible with any other action under the Plan serving the same purpose.

Submission of Applications
Applications must be submitted through the Electronic Secretariat (Sede Electrónica) of the University of Jaén, attaching all documentation required by the call.
Evaluation Criteria
Applications will be evaluated in accordance with the call guidelines once approved by the OTRI director.
Obligations of Beneficiaries
- Modality A (Project Submission Commitment): Beneficiaries must submit a project to the call specified in the application during the grant's award year or, failing that, the following year.
- Modality B: Refer to Action C.1.
- A justification report according to the call requirements.
- Any additional obligations established in both the general rules and the text of the call.
