The determination of the multi-element content like trace elements and
heavy metals in food, clinical and environmental samples is very
important for several reasons, such as safety control, medical treatment
or pollution analysis. In this research area we are focused on the study
of the required pre-treatment (such as microwave digestion) for the
different samples, and the determination of the target elements by means
of ICP-MS and AAS.
