Residue and contaminants analysis by chromatography

Analytical control of agrochemicals is a topic of increasing interest due to the necessary ensure of natural waters and foodstuffs to remain free from pesticide residues. The need of the development of faster or more sensitive techniques for detecting drugs and pesticide residues in food and environmental samples is thus undeniable. For this reason, our work is focused on the use of mass spectrometric techniques coupled to gas and liquid chromatography to develop, validate, and implement improved methods. Special effort is dedicated in the field of olive cultivars.
