David Vera Candeas (Principal Investigator)

DVera

David Vera is Ph.D. industrial engineer and Assistant Professor at University of Jaén (Spain). He is the Coordinator of the project OLIVEN “Opportunities for olive oil value chain enhancement through the by-products valorisation” Founded under Arimnet2 2017 (FP7). His research activity is focused on renewable energy technologies and waste valorization activities for the agrifood industry focusing on the olive oil industry. Finally, He has developed several research stays in Germany (7 months), USA (1 month), Panama (1 month) and Italy (4 months).


Lázuli Fernández Lobato (Hired resercher)

Lázuli Fernández Lobato is Phd student at the University of Jaén since 2017. He is architect (master level) from 2014 and, additionally, he completed a master's degree in innovation, technology and design in 2016, both from the University of Seville. He has training and experience in sustainability and life cycle assessment. From 2019 he is a hired researcher in the international project Oliven, which aims to improve the sustainability of the olive grove.

Roque Aguado Molina (FPU research fellowship)

Roque Aguado Molina is currently a PhD student under a FPU research fellowship. He received his second-cycle degree in Industrial Engineering (placed at master level) in 2016 and a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with distinction in 2012, both from the University of Jaén. Additionally, he holds a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Granada and a master’s degree in Energy Efficiency from the University of Corunna.

Miguel Caballero López (Degree Student)

Graduated in Energy Resources Engineering from the University of Jaén, currently studying the Master's Degree in Energy Engineering in the renewable energy itinerary offered by the Polytechnic University of Madrid. He is involved in the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency and distributed generation.

Antonio Escámez Álvarez (Youth guarantee technician associated to OLIVEN for 2 years)

Technician in Electrotechnical and Automated Systems, advanced knowledge in c ++, java, matlab. Basic training in PLC, CAD-CAM, machine learning, PCB layout. Collaborator in the design and manufacture of products in different companies and particular projects.
