Requirements

Those who wish to apply for this scholarship must:

• Studying at the Escuela Politécnica Superior de Linares during the academic year 2024/25.
• Having obtained a scholarship in the Programa Atracción al Talento during the academic year 2024/25.

Description of the scholarships

Scholarships, with an amount of €2,500 each are announced as follows:

• 10 grants for first year undergraduate students of the Escuela Politécnica Superior de Linares who have obtained the scholarship for the first time in the academic year 2024/2025.
• 30 grants for undergraduate students in courses different from the first year of the Escuela Politécnica Superior de Linares, and for Official Master's Degree students of the same School.

The possible vacant slots in any of the above groups will be accumulated to the other group in case there are candidates.

Granting of scholarships

This call for applications and its resolutions (provisional and final lists of beneficiaries) will be published on the UJA electronic notice board https://sede.ujaen.es/publico/tablon.

In the published resolutions, and due to data protection regulations, only the total score obtained will be indicated, in accordance with the provisions of section 5 of this Resolution.

The provisional resolution will be published on the notice boards of the University.

Any possible claims to this list will be solved and notified with the publication of the definitive resolution.

The final resolution will be published in the same places as the previous one.

Students in the waiting list may only be beneficiaries of these grants in case of resignation of the beneficiaries.

Payment of scholarships

The International Relations and Cooperation Service will proceed with the payment of the grants established in this call for applications into the same bank account into which the payment of the Talent Attraction Grant has been made.

Reimbursement

The amounts received shall be reimbursed, with the legally established interest for late payment, if applicable, in the following cases:

a. Obtaining the grant without fulfilling the conditions required for it, regardless of when it is detected that the candidate does not fulfil the required conditions.

b. Failure to fulfil the purpose for which the grant was awarded.

c. Failure to fulfil the obligation to provide justification.

d. Failure to fulfil the obligations established in this call for applications.

e. Abandonment of studies before the end of the academic year 2024/25 or cancellation of enrolment in the mentioned academic year.

The amounts awarded and not applied will be returned to the budget of the University of Jaén.
