Those students who take courses of less than 90 days and are of nationalities that do not require a visa (as is the case of Americans), may travel with proof of registration for the course and medical insurance for the entire stay. The visa-free stay will be valid for an uninterrupted period or a series of successive periods whose total duration does not exceed 90 calendar days within any 180-calendar-day period beginning on the date of first entry into the Schengen Area.
