Prepare for your stay at UJA
The Vice-rectorate for Internationalisation and the IRO of the UJA offers dedicated assistance to foreign exchange students (Erasmus+ and from other non-European countries) during their first weeks of stay in Jaén. In particular, international students have at their disposal several initiatives to make it easier their arrival and adaptation to UJA. We will help you out with the academic information, safety instructions, administrative procedures, Spanish courses, housing, insurance, leisure and culture...
The Welcome Centre is the point of reference in our university for international students (both regular and exchange mobilities), who need help before and during the first days of their stay on our campuses. We will guide you and provide you with information on all the important issues for your stay. The Office is located in the multi-purpose building, C4, at the Las Lagunillas Campus (Jaén). You can find more information in the Welcome Center website.
Every exchange and talent attraction students will be hosted by the IRO at the beginning of the semester, to guide the student for registration, enrollment and other administrative processes. Al the relevant information can be found in the IRO website. Additionally, every student will get personal support through the so-called Buddy Programme upon registration.
