Dear students,

We inform you that it is a mandatory requirement that you have insurance contracted to carry out your mobility that covers your entire period of stay. The necessary coverages are:

1.- Travel Insurance, which includes damage or loss of luggage.
2.- Medical assistance. (Accident and serious illness insurance that includes temporary or permanent disability).
3.- Death Insurance, which includes repatriation and/or medical transport of injured, sick or deceased insured persons.
4.- Travel of a family member in case of hospitalization or death.
5.- Civil Liability.
Taking out Insurance is an Essential Requirement to Carry Out a Mobility at the UJA, you can take it out with any company.

Once you have taken out the insurance, DO NOT FORGET to upload the policy to the UMOVE platform.

If you decide to take out a different insurance policy, you must request a certificate/report from your insurance company stating that your insurance includes the above coverage, which you must upload to UMOVE. If the aforementioned coverage is not expressly stated, it will not be considered valid. (see report template)

Policies uploaded to UMove that do not meet the requirements will be deleted from the system.
