Financing of Erasmus+ Grants

Academic Year 2023/24

Andalusian Regional Government

Two types of contributions are established:

  1. The basic contribution is general for all university students in the "Erasmus +" programme.

  2. The special contribution will be received by students who are beneficiaries of a general study grant from the Ministry with competence in the subject or of a general grant from the Basque Country's Department of Education, at the time of participation in the respective mobility call. The special contribution will also be received by those who accredit the condition of refugee or with the right to subsidiary protection or have presented an application for international protection in Spain.

The following classification of groups of destination countries of the "Erasmus +" Programme is established, in accordance with the classification of the Programme itself according to living costs (Call 2020), as well as the monthly amounts in euros for each group of countries.

Student mobility for study purposes to programme countries

The amount of aid will depend on the standard of living in the country of destination, according to the three groups described below:

Additional support for students from disadvantaged backgrounds

An additional amount to the corresponding one in section 10.1 of 200-250 euros per month will be financed for students who are in any of the following situations:

  • a. Having been the beneficiary of a general study grant from the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training for university and other studies or a grant from the Basque Country's Department of Education, or a grant for the schooling of students at non-university levels granted by the Department of Education of the Basque Country in the academic year immediately preceding the is going to perform the mobility.

  • b. Have the status of refugee or entitled to subsidiary protection or have submitted application for international protection in Spain.
