The originals received will be sent to two specialists for their scientific evaluation. These specialists will judge if they should be published and if necessary make certain recommendations or proposals to clarify or to improve the work. Dual anonymity will be put into practice as the referees will not be informed who the author of the text is and the author, likewise, will not know who is assessing his or her work. The authors may propose a third referee, who should be a person of recognised prestige who does not form part of the Editorial Board of the journal and who does not work in the same town or province as the author(s) of the work. If the reports contain recommendations for the improvement of the work, these will be explained to the authors. The decision to publish an article may be conditioned by the introduction of modifications to the original text according to the criteria expressed by the referees. If there are insurmountable differences of opinion between the reports, the matter will be submitted to arbitration, with a new evaluation.
