In recent years, the improvement of new technologies, the progressive reduction in the hardware size as well as decrease in the price and better connectivity has promoted that we see the environment in which we live in a different way.
Nowadays, it's very common to find smart devices, for example, a smart washing machine which provides how many degrees we should put the water for our clothes, or a system that monitors the vital signs that automatically alerts when detecting any anomaly.
For the past reasons, CEATIC has bet for the installation of a new smart lab in the Building C6, 109 room, making easy for its researchers to study the behaviour and habits of people in a controlled and supervised environment.
The laboratory is equipped with more than 130 sensors of more than 30 different types, that makes possible the studying and monitoring of the residents who are in it in a precise mode.
The smart laboratoy is located in the Building C6, 109 room, which has a dimension of 25 square metres.
The laboratory is divided into three parts: kitchen, living room and bedroom.
