Dear international students,

The University of Jaén would like to offer a warm welcome to all those new international students of talent attraction, mobility exchange and double degree programs who have just arrived in Jaén. In order to simplify the adaptation process and make these initial weeks easier, from the Vice-rectorate for Internationalization and the International Relations Service, we have designed a welcome program with different activities to transmit basic and useful information. This program is intended to complement the intense informative and support work that the International Relations Service carries out before the mobility and in the first days of the stay, and thus solve specific doubts that are pending, regarding procedures, services, location of the same, and human team in charge of your adaptation. Below you will find information about the different actions designed. We will be happy to assist you and help you throughout your stay. Welcome!

Welcome days - 26 & 27 Sept

Technical conferences with practical information, scheduled for September 26th and 27th at the Jaén Campus. The conferences will be broadcasted online.

Campus Tour - 29 Sept

Guided visits to services and buildings in the two campuses (Jaén and Linares) have been scheduled for September 29 at 11:00 am. The purpose of these visits is to guide the international students and to show them the location of the most relevant services (classrooms, CEALM language center, library, bank office, CRAI...).

Welcome ceremony - 9 Oct

In this ceremony, both the Rector and the Vice Rector for Internationalization will welcome the international student body. In addition, awards will be given to the best incoming and outgoing mobility records, talented international students, best international career and best buddy. We will also meet the members of the Erasmus Student Network association and their activities.

There will be a musical performance and a cocktail at the end of the ceremony.

In addition, for the students of the Linares Campus, a bus transportation service will be provided to attend the ceremony and return to Linares at the end of it (registration form will be sent via email).
