The Vice-Rector for Equality, Diversity and Social Responsibility, Pilar Fernández Pantoja, greets and welcomes visitors to the Vice-Rectorate website.

The Vice-Rectorate for Equality, Diversity and Social Responsibility has been delegated the powers in matters of gender equality, diversity, development cooperation and volunteering, as well as those of the Equality Units, Diversity Unit regulated in art. 43 of Organic Law 2/2023, of March 22, of the University System, and, in general, all powers that are attributed by delegation of the Rector in matters of equality, diversity and university social responsibility.

The hallmarks of this Vice-Rectorate are to work across all departments to promote a committed, inclusive and diverse university, guaranteeing the university community that, in the exercise of their rights and the fulfillment of their duties, they will not be discriminated against on the grounds of birth, racial or ethnic origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, belief or opinion, age, disability, nationality, illness, socioeconomic status, linguistic status, political and trade union affiliation, on the grounds of their appearance, or on the grounds of any other personal or social condition or circumstance.
