The University of Jaén, through the Vice-Rectorate for Equality, Diversity and Social Responsibility, developed a wide program of activities on the campuses of Jaén and Linares on the occasion of March 8, under the slogan 'The UJA for the rights of women and girls: accelerating equality to transform society'.

The program, held between March 4 and 21, included exhibitions, roundtables, conferences, workshops, and awareness-raising activities focused on equality, leadership, and women's empowerment. Highlights included various exhibitions on the realities of women around the world, debates on empowerment, special radio programs, as well as conferences and workshops on gender, science, art, and social inequalities.

The program involved the participation of various faculties and collaborating entities, engaging both the university community and the society of Jaén in the reflection and promotion of equality.
